SOUTHEAST BEAST EQUIPMENT POLICY

At Southeast Beast, our priority is player development — not enforcing unnecessary, expensive equipment requirements. We do not mandate new gear purchases each season, because we believe families should invest in what matters most: ice time, coaching, and long-term player growth.

To support this philosophy, we’ve adopted a flexible equipment policy that allows families to save money and reuse existing gear, while maintaining a unified team appearance and safety standards.

Mandatory Team Items:

The only required purchases for each player are:

• Game jerseys and socks
• Practice jersey

Equipment Guidelines:

• Helmet: Must be black. Players may choose any brand.
• Gloves: Any brand is allowed, but colors must be:
• All black
• Black and white
• Black and red
• Black, white, and red
• Pants: Must be black, any brand accepted.

This policy ensures families aren’t burdened with large, unnecessary expenses at the start of the season. Instead, resources go where they matter most — on the ice, in the gym, and into coaching that drives development.
