CODE OF CONDUCT
SOUTHEAST BEAST PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT
“Learn. Develop. Excel.”
At Southeast Beast, wearing the jersey means more than playing hockey — it means holding yourself to a higher standard. Our program is built on the belief that success comes from hard work, discipline, and respect — both on and off the ice. Every player is expected to uphold our core pillars: Learn. Develop. Excel.
Learn
We expect all Southeast Beast players to be students of the game — and of life.
- Arrive with a coachable attitude
- Respect coaches, teammates, officials, and opponents
- Ask questions, stay engaged, and seek to improve daily
- Listen fully and apply feedback with purpose
Develop
Development is earned through consistent effort and accountability.
- Show up on time, prepared, and focused
- Compete in every drill, every shift, every rep
- Support your teammates and take responsibility for your actions
- Represent Southeast Beast with commitment and character — in how you train, speak, and carry yourself
Excel
We chase excellence — not perfection — by pushing past comfort zones.
- Embrace challenges as opportunities
- Lead by example, whether you’re on the first line or supporting from the bench
- Give full effort, even when no one is watching
- Strive to be a better player, teammate, and person every day
By joining Southeast Beast, you commit to being the Beast you can be — not just when it’s easy, but especially when it’s hard. Our culture is built on players who believe in themselves, belong to something greater, and are ready to rise together.
