Coaches
16U Academy
Coach John was drafted by the North Bay Centennials of the OHL and earned an NCAA Division I scholarship to Union College. A significant injury during his Freshman year redirected his focus from pursuing professional play to developing athletes through skills coaching and strength training. Since then, he has had the privilege of working with players at all levels — including those in the NHL — helping them grow both on and off the ice. Passionate about creating a clear and competitive development path for southern athletes, Coach John brings deep knowledge, high standards, and relentless energy to the Beast program. We’re excited to have him lead our 16U team into the 2026–27 season, where he’ll challenge our players to compete with intensity and develop into true beasts against top-tier competition.

He went on to play professionally in both North America and Europe, gaining valuable experience across playing styles and systems. His coaching journey began with the renowned Turcotte Stickhandling School, and he later worked with RHP Training Centre in Sudbury, where he trained players ranging from youth to NHL-caliber talent. Known for his positive energy and attention to detail, Coach Frankie brings a deep passion for both skill development and mindset coaching. We’re excited to have him lead our 12U team into the 2026–27 season, where his leadership will help our young players build confidence, grow together, and start their journey to becoming true beasts on and off the ice.
